Our Journey to Hope

WELCOME TO OUR ADOPTION JOURNEY!

Wednesday, May 10, 2006

Sorry folks. Tonight has been reallyhard for all of us. Hope is in deep, deep greiving. Deeper than I have seen anyone be in, let alone a 2 year old child. She has been crying out for her foster mama who she must have loved very deeply. Just tears your heart out. We will post as soon as we can. For all of you who pray, please PRAY. God bless Nate

Nate and Kelly,
We will pray for all of you and for little Hope, that her little heart wouldnt hurt so much! May God give you the grace you need through this. Hope is so blessed to have parents that love her so much and will love her through this.
Love and prayers,
Dawn

We will definitely be praying for Hope's transition. I know that she will feel the love from you and learn to trust. Just remember, you have been preparing your heart for her for a while now and she had no idea her world was changing. She just needs time and love. Much luck and congrats to you.

Nate & Kelly,
We adopted our daughter from Cenxi City last July. She was 21 months at the time. She experienced deep greiving also. It took Lauren 5 days before we got a little smile out of her - what a joyous day! My heart goes out to you - I'll keep all three of you in my prayers. Susan in Des Moines, Iowa

Dear Nate and Kelly,

We are another CWA family, and our Sarah Grace grieved hard and long. It was heart wrenching to hear and watch her looking everywhere for her special nanny. Please know that 18 months later she is the sunshine of many lives. We saw improvement through our 2 weeks in China. Give her love and time - she will come to adore and love you all. Tricia

Dear Hope,
Please know that this sorrow will pass and that in your heart there will always be your foster mom. You have recieved the greatest gift with having Nate and Kelly as parents. Let them hold you and rock you, pray for you and love you. They will love you forever.
