Welcome to our journey! We are so thrilled and excited to finally be on our way to China to bring our little daughter, Sophia Hope home! This journey began last spring. After talking about adoption for years, we really got serious when a friend told us about the adoption agency, Christian World Adoption , and their photolist of special needs children from China. We found our daughter on this list! After about 10 months of paperchasing and waiting, we will soon have Hope in our arms!

Last summer, big brother Zach pitched in to help with the paper work. He is really looking forward to having his baby sister home!

This is the first picture that we saw of our precious daughter. When Kelly and I saw her, we both knew she was our daughter. What amazes me is how God can plant the seed of love in your heart for a little girl you have only have seen a picture of. and not even met....we are so glad the wait is almost over!

First big girl pictures

These pictues came around the first of the year. We had sent Hope a package a while before and in it was a little folder of her family in the USA. We arn't sure if that is what she is looking at but it might be. These were the best pictures we had recieved of her as a little girl and not a baby. We so wanted to pick her up and hold her.

These pictures came at just the right time. It seemed like nothing was happening and then these came. They were really heart warming. They came about 2 months ago. About 3 months ago we had sent Hope package and she is wearing an outfit that we sent her.
